Atlanta Old White Rugby Football Club Announces Sports Medicine Partnership with Emory Healthcare
Atlanta, GA — As part of its continued commitment to becoming a stronger rugby club and better supporting its membership, Atlanta Old White Rugby Football Club (AOWRFC) has announced a new partnership with Emory Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare providers in the Atlanta area.
Club leadership identified the need for improved medical follow-up care for players after injuries sustained during matches—particularly once on-site Athletic Trainers have completed their immediate sideline care. Through this new partnership, Atlanta Old White RFC has been accepted into Emory Healthcare’s Community Outreach Program for Sports Medicine, providing players with streamlined access to specialized sports medicine physicians. The fastest way for injured players to receive care is by completing Emory Healthcare’s secure online intake form. This process allows players to be fast-tracked for evaluation by an Emory Sports Medicine physician as quickly as possible.
