Atlanta Old White Rugby Football Club has recently teamed up with the River Funding Group to help build, grow and develop the Atlanta Old White RFC in a way that will forever meet the aspirations of it's members and the Rugby community worldwide. Old White RFC has always strongly believed in the philosophy that hard work on and off the pitch is the foundation of success. So here it is boy's, let's strap the boots on, switch it on, and do what has to be done to set ourselves apart as an elite USA Rugby Football Club. |
The program is simple: If you or anyone you know is purchasing or refinancing commercial real estate, just call or fax River Funding Group with basic information about the commercial real estate deal. River Funding Group then handles the entire transaction including closing, at which time Atlanta Old White RFC receives a referral fee. |

St. Patrick's Day is around the corner, which also means that St. Baldrick's is around the corner. Located at Fado in Buckhead, Old White has the chance to help raise almost $100,000 to support cancer research.

Atlanta Old White has been a participant in this for a long time, and we will continue to support this and other charitable endeavors. So yes, start growing your hair out and get it shaved for charity. Guys, we're talking about a foundation that supports cancer research. Specifically, this is research that fights against childhood cancer. To put it in more simple terms, Old White is helping to prevent little kids from going through something that none of us would want to have to go through. So even if you don't volunteer to get your head shaved, at least donate a few dollars to support your team mate getting his shaved. The money is going to a good cause, and even a five or ten dollar donation (we're talking a twelve pack of beer here, y'all--not a lot in the grand scheme of things) goes a long way.
The motto of this club is "Excellence...Always". Let's remember that when opportunities like this come up. It means a lot to wear that white jersey on a Saturday, and stepping up for things like this is part of that. |
